Before booking

One size does NOT fit all! Every family is different from the next and talking on the phone before we get down to the details helps break the ice while we dream a little about your family’s portraits. You can get in touch here and let me know the best time(s) to reach you.

2-4 weeks in advance is usually a good time to book as space is very limited. If you're unsure of a specific date we can “soft book” for a month or season you are interested in and get specific later. A signed Portrait Contract and Portrait Reservation Deposit is required to be officially booked and reserve your date.

making the magic

We will meet in person to plan the details of your session. This meeting is extremely important! We'll talk locations, your personal photography taste, and must-have products. This planning will be fun, and it also helps me determine how best to photograph during your portrait session. I didn’t forget about wardrobe! I work with each family on picking colors and pieces that compliment their style. Most of the time, the shopping is done right from your closet!

We follow a similar flow with every session: casual poses, fun and games, then some free play at the end. I’ll offer helpful directions and ask you to play some silly games but other than that, try to relax and enjoy this undistracted quality time with your family!

creating your artwork

Shortly after your portrait session, you'll see the beautiful moments we captured for the first time. You'll watch a slideshow of all your images while enjoying refreshments and relive the fun of your Session Day. Then you'll choose all of your favorites and decide on how you want to preserve these memories for generations.

Depending on the specific artwork you have chosen, your portraits will be delivered within 2-4 weeks. Unwrapping your items and putting them on display is just as exciting as seeing them for the first time!
