Meet Alyssa. Owner of Palm Trees to Sweet Teas, hand-letterer, and stay at home mom.
We nearly got rained out of this session and as K was leaving the next day, I was a bit worried we wouldn't get any senior photos for her at all! It wasn't too long before the rain let up and we jumped out of the air-conditioned car and hit a wall of good ole Alabama humidity. If you wear glasses, you may know where I'm going with this....
About to leave Japan, Rob asked me to do some headshots of him with his flute before he left. I was so excited! Not only are these my first musician headshots, but my first urban shoot as well! He even played some classical music for me while we were taking pictures and random cyclists looked at us like we were crazy... it was such a blast!
This session was my first male senior subject. I was a little nervous that boys would be hesitant to take photos at all (probably because of my experiences with my husband in front of the camera...) but he shattered those right away! This guy knew how to pose, took direction really well, and of course looked good doing it! We found a classic car body shop in the park we went to and voila! A perfectly suave senior session!
